A mother whose spine was severed when she used her body to shield her sons from a tornado is undergoing an operation in an attempt to walk again. Amy Hawkins, 43, has been in a wheelchair since the F-3 tornado ripped apart her Hendersonville, North Carolina, home in 2006. As it hit the house she went down to her basement and laid down on top of her sons Jair and Cole, who were aged six and three at the time.

Pabst Theater Group Opening New Milwaukee Venue With Back Room at Colectivo Coffee Closing

MILWAUKEE (CelebrityAccess) – Pabst Theater Group (PTG), which has owned and operated the Back Room at Colectivo Coffee (Back Room) since 2015, has announced a new live music and wedding venue coming to the area. Per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, PTG plans to purchase a commercial building at 1818 North Farwell Avenue, per information from the concert and event promotion business.  The new venue is scheduled to open in 2024, with the 300-capacity Back Room closing its doors at the end of 2023.

9-Year-Old Florida Boy Dies After Crawling Under Moving School Bus

January 16th, 2024, was a very sad day for Orange County as a 9-year-old boy died tragically in a bus accident. Elyas Marshall Rodriguez died instantly after he crawled under a moving school bus that had just dropped him off at his stop.  That fateful afternoon, the Orange County Public School bus dropped the Elyas at a roundabout, which was his usual stop. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the bus driver continued driving through the roundabout to his next destination.
