Kevin Costner 'dating Grammy-nominee singer' as lovebirds seen together

Film star Kevin Costner is reportedly dating someone new after his divorce from his ex-wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner.

Hollywood star Kevin Costner has apparently rebounded with singer Jewel, sources claim. The pair have been seen spending quite a bit of time together recently. The loved up duo have reportedly been holidaying at Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, and sources have confirmed that the pair are an item.

Kevin Costner is dating again

The celebrity was there as a guest for a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation, of which Jewel is a founder.

Photos show the 68-year-old movie star holding Jewel’s waist from behind as she spoke at the event. Jewel, 49, posted to her Instagram about the fundraiser and gave a shoutout to Kevin in the caption.

She penned: “Every year, my foundation @inspiringchildren and I go to Necker Island to help host a tennis event w @richardbranson to raise funds for our kids …

“It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest and play w my son! @kevincostnermodernwest was kind enough to mentor our kids this year, and Sir Richard was his usual inspiring self – who also plays a mean game of doubles!”

The two are said to have flown to the Caribbean together and spent more than a week in each other’s company. A source said: “There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up.”

Another source added: “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.”

A third explained that Jewel, 49, is “picky.” They said: “She wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill.” The music star was previously married to Ty Murray from 2008 until they divorced in 2014.

Kevin’s ‘bitter’ divorce

Kevin Costner was previously dating Christine Baumgartner, his second wife. The pair married in 2004 and divorced this year. In that time, they welcomed three children.

During the divorce settlement, they reportedly filed for joint custody. Christine asked for quite a large amount of money in child support at over $200,000 with Kevin wishing to pay $63,000. The judge in their case ultimately sided with Kevin and his suggested amount.

Christine was warned if she challenged the prenup that they had agreed, she would have to repay over a million dollars back to her ex-husband as well as his legal fees. She ultimately decided to agree to the terms of the settlement.

A source said: “They barely speak to each other and secondly, she’s moved on. There is still a lot of hurt on both sides and she’s still disappointed that Kevin and his legal team painted such a horrible and untruthful picture of her.”
