The American rapper was a real-life Barbie at the premiere of Greta Gerwig’s upcoming movie in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 9. The star posed for pictures with leading actress Margot Robbie and explained why her Barbie cover song was a “full circle moment” in her career.

The Super Freaky Girl rapper stunned at the Barbie premiere with a curve-hugging dress. Nicki, whose new album was recently delayed, sported a light purple dress and completed her ultimate Barbie look with long blonde locks, silver earrings, and long pointy nails.
Nicki attended the star-packed Barbie premiere in Los Angeles alongside the movie’s leading stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Dua Lipa, and others.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 40-year-old rapper admitted that her cover song for the movie was a “full circle moment” in her career and shared her blessings for being part of “the whole Barbie movement”.
“It’s a dream come true, a full circle moment,” she told the outlet. “I couldn’t really afford Barbies when I was little, I probably had one Barbie. So, now, I get to be a part of a whole Barbie movement.”
Margot Robbie and Nicki Minaj slay at premiere
Elsewhere, Nicki had an adorable interaction with Margot Robbie when they slayed on the red carpet with their gorgeous looks and posed together for pictures.
Margot called the interaction “iconic” and added that she needed the minute later to grasp her moment with the Starships rapper.
Nicki posted a snippet of their joint slay on her Instagram Feed and fellow celebrities couldn’t spare their reactions and compliments about the iconic duo.
Winnie Harlow called Margot and Nicki “Barbie and Barb”, while MTV’s official Instagram page labeled them “my two Barbies”. Jurnee Smollett added: “Two of my [favorite] Barbies of all time.”
Nicki is a “real-life Barbie”, fans say
The stunning snippets and videos of Nicki at the LA Barbie premiere are all over Twitter and fans have flooded the platform with their reactions.
“Looking so beautiful as always,” one Twitter user wrote.
“They know who the queen of rap is,” another fan said. Someone else commented: “Beautiful from every angle. A real-life Barbie.”
“Barbie tingz, that’s Barbie tingz!” a fourth one added, as another said about Nicki: “She’s so adorable I can’t.”
